Use this interactive tear sheet to help clients choose vegetables that their family can try. Choose vegetables on the front, along with a 1 to 2 action steps on the back. Twelve different action steps are provided for clients to choose from, including adding vegetables to scrambled eggs, sandwiches, soups and pasta sauces; eating snow peas or cherry tomatoes for a snack; including beans in a taco or burrito; and steaming vegetables in the microwave.
Education is based on the concepts from ChooseMyPlate.gov and the 2015-2020 Dietary Guidelines for Americans.
